MEET THE TEAM
The SPCA is made up of a whole team of compassionate people working hard, every day, in different ways to ensure that the SPCA is continued to be guided by its mission and that the animals in our care receive the best care possible. Whilst this is not the whole team , here we would like to introduce you to our management team, supervisors, and team leads.
Hanna Rhodin
National Director
Hanna has worked in the animal welfare field since 2009. She oversees policies, fundraising, campaigns, donor relations, and program development. She has a dog named Bernie and three cats filled with character.
Joseph K. Naimhwaka
Senior Inspector
Joseph has worked with the SPCA as an Inspector since 2008. He is usually on the road rescuing animals, responding to animal cruelty complaints, and conducting house checks.
Bernard
Inspector
Bernard is an Inspector and has worked with the SPCA for nearly ten years. He is usually on the road rescuing animals, responding to animal cruelty complaints, and conducting house checks.
Sylvia Breitenstein
Director of Operations
Sylvia has been a part of SPCA's heart and soul for the past 30 years. She oversees all animal welfare and animal care related operations. Sylvia's most recent, and smallest, addition to her animal family is a little Chihuahua named Twiggy.
Helen Galliano
Animal Care Supervisor
Helen has worked for the SPCA in different capacities for over 30 years. She supervises the Animal Caretakers working with the dogs each day and she cares for the pups like they are her own.
Dr. Shalom Phiri
Shelter Veterinarian
Dr. Shalom is the Shelter Veterinarian, overseeing our Animal Health department and she will help anyone in need whether furry, feathered, or scaly.
